Located adjacent to Maple Lawn, just a half a mile from the restaurant, Ananda Farm is also the home of restaurant owner, Binda Singh. Binda and his family raise chicken, geese, and ducks (for their eggs) and grow a wide variety of seasonal herbs and vegetables that are used throughout the menu.
Binda leads a crew that consists of:
His parents, Sarwan & Darshan. They are in their 80's, but continuing to practice farming brings them back to their younger years as farmers in Punjab, India;
Lolo, Collin, and several other team members who also work in the front and back of the house at Ananda Restaurant;
Amarjit, a Punjabi farmer with more than 50 years' experience raising crops;
Danny Fleischmann, owner of Full Circle Farm, and consultant for the development of Ananda Farm. Danny also owns the Maple Lawn Farmers' Market;
Binda's son Ben (pictured to the right at age two-and-a-half with his grandmother) He's currently in elementary school, but he is a hard worker!
